Like to think that I'm a happy, independent and positive thinking person. I don't look or feel my age, but I suppose we all think that.

My favourite things that don't always happen: Being in the countryside, by the sea or coastal walks. Live blues music played in small pubs and clubs. Theatre and less often the cinema, followed by a drinkie and meal to discuss and digest what has just been seen.

Try to keep fit swimming, walking and keep-fit DVD's. Favourite foods are Thai and Indian and anything spicy. I still follow a football team which is not my fault....I blame my upbringing ! Although these days it is strictly armchair support.

I 'm happy with my own company but miss the companionship of a true friend and lover. People often say they see a bubbly, happy, outgoing person, I know that in large gatherings I can be the quieter one in the group.

Looking for new experiences as well as enjoying some of my pleasures with someone else. Hopefully someone that can make me laugh...you can't have too many smiles.
